2nd edition of AI.Moot Court!
The second edition of AI.Moot Court is currently underway. This initiative by VdA Academia, developed in collaboration with YouLearn Academy, challenges students to take part in a mock trial using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Aimed at students of Law, International Relations and Political Science from the second year of their degree onwards, this competition offers a practical experience where legal rigour meets technological innovation. Throughout the AI.Moot Court, participants are called upon to develop essential legal skills and tackle complex challenges, exploring the potential of AI applied to the legal context.
The AI.Moot Court is conducted in English, is free to enter and lasts for eleven weeks, during which students complete three tasks, spread across three phases.
The competition prizes include, amongst others, €8,000 for the winning team, €1,000 for the team coming second, summer internships at VdA, and other workshops and experiences.

VdA Academia sponsors national and international Moot Courts. These events enable students to practise applying international law through the resolution of practical cases, whilst also gaining practical skills in drafting pleadings and briefs, research, public speaking, argumentation and procedural strategy.
