Labour Law Summer School

6th edition of the Labour Law Summer School 2026 | Applications open until 31 July

VdA’s Employment Law Practice Group and VdA Academia, in partnership with the Academic Association of the Faculty of Law of Lisbon (AAFDL), are organising the 6th edition of the Summer School on 3 and 4 September at VdA’s offices in Lisbon.

This free initiative is aimed at students from all law faculties across the country who wish to develop skills related to employment law and explore new topics and future challenges in labour relations.

Over the course of two days, the 25 selected students will have the opportunity to interact with VdA lawyers specialising in employment law, analyse and discuss practical, day-to-day cases from the world of employment law within a law firm, as well as further develop their hard and soft skills in these areas, whilst expanding their professional network.

Law students who are interested in labor law issues.

Participants in this program will be able to:

  • Increase their knowledge of national and international Labor Law and develop key behavioral skills (soft skills) to pursue a career in this area
  • Know how a law firm works and contact professionals
  • Increase the network
  •  Be selected to perform a summer internship at VdA

The process consists of 3 stages:

  • Application period: until 31 July – link to the Application Form HERE
  • Review and selection of applications: notification of successful candidates by 14 August
  • Registration formalization: between 15 and 24 August
