It's called Soft Skills Spring School and it's the new intensive training in behavioral skills for Law students ministered by VdAcademia together with TESE - association for development - and with the Nova University of Lisbon Faculty of Law.

During one week training will be delivered concerning some of the skills most sought after by Law firms, namely negotiation, team work and presentation skills. There will also be room for developing self-knowledge as a tool for potentiating individual talent management.

This focus on the development of soft skills aims to deepen the student's preparation further to the law degree's training in hard skills at university level. The training program results from the joint experience accumulated by VdAcademia together with the Nova University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law and TESE in the coaching of newcomers to the work market. 'Ask for Alchemy', 'FIND' and 'SHL', all consulting agencies specializing in working with law firms are also associated to the program.

Applications are made through VdAcademia's site and should include a letter of purpose. The number of students is limited to the best 30 applications. The students with the best grades at the end of the training program will be offered a Summer Traineeship at VdA.

All revenue coming from payment of the symbolic 30 Euros charged for the course will revert to 'Faz-Te Forward' program promoted by TESE, whose aim is to support the social and professional integration of youths facing difficulties in entering the work market.
