The second edition of AI.Moot Court, an initiative of VdA Academia, developed in collaboration with YouLearn Academy, is now underway, challenging students to participate in a mock trial using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). The first phase runs until 4 April.
Aimed at law, international relations and political science students from the second year of their degree onwards, this competition provides practical experience where legal rigour meets technological innovation. Participants are called upon to develop essential legal skills and tackle complex challenges, exploring the potential of AI applied to the legal context.
The AI.Moot Court is conducted in English, is free to participate in and lasts for eleven weeks, culminating in the final scheduled for 8 May. Prizes include, among others, €8,000 for the winning team, €1,000 for the runner-up team, summer internships at VdA, and other workshops and experiences, such as ‘a day of immersion’ at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
